1) What is Wildcatter Ranch?
Wildcatter Ranch is a 1500 acre guest ranch with diverse landscapes including rugged hill terrain covered with rocks, cacti, as well as mesquite, oak, and juniper trees. Spectacular views of the historic Brazos River and soft grazing bottomlands make our ranch a truly unique Texas vacation spot.

2) Where is Wildcatter Ranch located?
We're located in Young County Texas about ninety minutes northwest of Fort Worth and seven miles outside of Graham, Texas. For our map, click here.

3) Can you tell me a little about your accommodations?
All rooms except one, have upscale furnishings including 2 queen size beds and can sleep up to 4 adults. Click here for more information about our luxury guest ranch rooms including rates.

4) Can you tell me more about your restaurant?
Wildcatter Steakhouse sits atop a bluff overlooking some of the most beautiful land in the north Texas hill country. The view from our restaurant is truly spectacular, but it's the food and the service that really make a visit to Wildcatter Steakhouse truly exciting. Our menu is genuine Texan from "hand-cut" mesquite grilled steaks, barbeque, and fresh fish, to old standbys like chicken fried steak. Compliment your meal with a glass or bottle of wine or cold beer from our private club bar, The Blowout Saloon. Be sure and save room for one of our mouth watering desserts. 5) What is there to do at Wildcatter Ranch?
We've got lots of stuff to do at our ranch, including horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, horseshoes, chuck wagon cookouts, history tours, and much much more! We can create a unique ranch experience for your group, centered on what you like best. We also will have special "theme weekends" such as trail rides, art, photography, bird watching clinics and more. 6) What other activities are available close to Wildcatter Ranch?
Possum Kingdom Lake, one of the largest and most popular lakes in Texas is located near Wildcatter Ranch. Activities to enjoy on the lake include boat and personal water craft rentals, water skiing, swimming, fishing, scuba diving, as well as the opportunity to golf on one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses, The Cliffs at Possum Kingdom. If you love antique shopping then beautiful downtown Graham, only minutes away offers some of the best in north Texas.

7) I've read on your website about "customized" trips. Can you tell me a little more about that?
Sure. Since there is so much to do around here we offer what we like to call "customized ranch experiences." We can include activities such as horseback rides, hay rides, historic tours, and campfire dinners. Go here to find out more about our rates and packages. 8) Can I bring my own horses out to ride the trails at Wildcatter Ranch?
Most of our trail rides are on Wildcatter owned and trained horses, however we do allow people with their own horses to ride with us on an individual basis. 

9) Does Wildcatter Ranch have facilities for family reunions or other large gatherings?
Wildcatter Ranch together with Wildcatter Steakhouse is a perfect place for your next event. There are several areas of the ranch that can be used for your event, but the most popular places are the restaurant itself or the pavilion. Let us help you organize your next Texas family reunion. 10) What about medical emergencies?
Wildcatter Ranch is only about 7-10 minutes from Graham, Texas, and the Graham Regional Medical Center a level 4 trauma center serving Young County, Texas. The city of Graham also has lots of amenities such as grocery stores, a Wal-Mart, many fast food restaurants and a downtown area great for antique shopping. Click here for more details.

11) Are there RV hook-ups at Wildcatter Ranch?
We do not have RV hookups at Wildcatter Ranch but there are several RV parks in the area. For a listing of those RV parks please click here.
